FIRB
This is a site reporting results obtained in the framework of a project named "Microscopic origin of thin film morphology: assessing the effects of long-range interactions and cluster mobility" funded by the FIRB (Fondo Integrativo Ricerca di base) of MIUR (Ministero Istruzione Universita' e Ricerca), Italy. It will contain, or link to, data and results, as well as submitted papers and reports, and conference presentations.
The project has been submitted in september 2001, approved in summer 2002, formally started in early 2003 (though operationally it started earlier). While its natural ending date was january 2006, MIUR has granted an extension to july 2006.
The scientist involved have all worked on the project while at the Physics Department of Cagliari University, Italy, or at the SLACS-CNR laboratory. Coworkers on this project include or have included dr. Giuseppe Colizzi, PhD; dr. Giulio Biddau; prof. Paolo Ruggerone, PhD; dr. Attilio Vargiu. The scientific responsible of the project is prof. Vincenzo Fiorentini.
